❇️ In March 2025, a strategic meeting of key representatives of the business community of Ukraine took place online, where the final draft of the document "Ukrainian Business Platform" (UBP-2025) was discussed. The initiator and developer of the Platform was Yaroslav Romanchuk — a well-known economist, publicist, and head of the UBP working group. The event was attended by leaders of business associations — members of the National MSME Platform, as well as experts, including the head of the Institute for the Development of the Real Estate Market of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pechalín.

The Ukrainian Business Platform is not just a document. It is a joint proposal of entrepreneurs and economists for reloading the relationship between business and government. The UBP contains an analysis of the state of economic policy, institutions, and the tax environment, and proposes specific ways to strengthen economic freedom, competitiveness, and attract investments. This tool aims to consolidate the voice of entrepreneurship in the context of war and economic transformation.

➡️ A key moment of the meeting was the presentation of a new section — "Social Dialogue and Strategic Partnership between Business and Government," proposed by Oleksandr Pechalín. The initiative envisages the creation of permanent advisory platforms at different levels of government with the participation of business, the involvement of entrepreneurs in the strategic planning of state development, the formation of the National Council for Economic Development, as well as the implementation of feedback mechanisms and institutional appeals of decisions affecting the business climate.

The proposal was supported by the majority of meeting participants. It was decided to include this section in the final version of the Platform. At the same time, other additions were voiced, in particular, regarding the expansion of the analytical support of the Platform's recommendations and mechanisms for public monitoring of government actions.

The next step will be to finalize the document taking into account all proposals, to publish it, and to officially present it to the authorities. Throughout the year, the UBP will serve as the basis for public dialogue as well as an analytical guideline for reformers.

✅ The Ukrainian Business Platform is a real chance to transform the economic dialogue between the authorities and businesses from situational to systematic, transparent, and effective. And it is precisely thanks to such meetings that a national development strategy is formed, based on knowledge, experience, and solidarity.
