The Real Estate Development Institute of Ukraine "Plektan" unites realtors and developers who constantly communicate with people who find themselves in difficult situations, such as loss of housing, and wish to receive assistance from the state.

However, the current legislation needs to be improved in terms of taking into account various criteria that affect the valuation of real estate. It is important to ensure dialogue between society and the authorities, to involve expert assistance from analysts and representatives of the real estate market from the business environment.

The team of the Real Estate Market Development Institute of Ukraine "Plektan" within the framework of the National forum "DataUAction: Quality Analytics - the first step to recovery!" initiated an advocacy campaign "For a fair value of compensation for damaged housing." Advocacy is a set of actions aimed at convincing and influencing those who hold state, political, or economic power to implement and realize state policy in such a way as to benefit those who have less political power and fewer economic resources.

The first stage of the advocacy campaign has begun, the goal of which is to clearly define and analyze the problem, as well as the proposed ways to solve it.

At the first stage, well-known business associations and analytical centers in Ukraine, which are advocacy professionals, have joined the advocacy - Public Expertise Institute (Dnipro), STINA Entrepreneurs' Association (Vinnytsia), 4Business Business Association (Sumy), Public Expertise Center (Kyiv), National SME Platform (Kyiv), Green Vision NGO (Vinnytsia), and Real Estate Market Research Information and Analytical Center "Uvekon" Assessment and Analysis of the Real Estate Market "Uvekon", which carries out constant monitoring, analysis, and coverage of the dynamics of the real estate market in Ukraine.
