🔘 Recent monthly surveys by LUN demonstrate a gradual shift in the expectations of potential real estate buyers towards rising prices. Over three months, the percentage of those predicting an increase in the value of apartments on the secondary market in Kyiv rose from 28% in September 2024 to 39% in January 2025. Thus, over three months, the share of those who believe in the rising cost of housing increased by 11%.
According to statistics, the share of respondents who believe in a decrease in housing prices is decreasing: if in September 2024 there were 35% of such respondents, then in January it was only 26%. Meanwhile, the percentage of those who do not expect significant changes in the market remains stable (33-36%). This opinion has hardly changed over the past few months.
✔️ A similar trend is observed in the primary market. The share of buyers who believe that prices for new buildings will rise increased from 42% to 50%, while the number of those predicting a decline decreased from 27% to 17%.
