✅ The Institute for the Development of the Real Estate Market of Ukraine (IRRMU) “Plektan”, in collaboration with the international organization Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, has taken an important step towards a systematic solution to the problems of housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs).

During a working meeting organized by the Regional Council of Entrepreneurs of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, the director of IRRMU “Plektan” Oleksandr Pechalin held talks with representatives of Helvetas regarding the implementation of a large-scale social project “Housing for IDPs: systematic solutions for communities”.

✔️ The project is aimed at creating a comprehensive model of housing support for IDPs. Its main goal is to develop and implement effective local programs that take into account the interests of communities, developers, realtors, marketplaces, and the displaced persons themselves.

Within the framework of the project, IRRMU “Plektan” is responsible for:

▪️ Expertise in the field of real estate and legislation

▪️ Integration of marketplaces and realtor services into the housing search system

▪️ Preparation of recommendations for regional and local programs

▪️ Analytics of barriers in the housing market and modeling solutions based on data

The joint initiative with Helvetas opens new opportunities for:

▪️ Creating transparent and socially oriented housing solutions

▪️ Attracting international experience and resources

▪️ Expanding partnerships with developers, donors, and government authorities

Participants of the meeting also included representatives of business associations, the IT market, agriculture, and the manufacturing sector, as well as the leadership of the International Charity Fund “Without Borders” — a key partner of the project.
