With the beginning of December, the short-term rental market in the Carpathians traditionally enters a phase of increased demand. Data from OLX Real Estate analysts show that the price dynamics in tourist locations remain uneven, with a sharp increase in part of the settlements.
🔸PRIVATE HOUSES: the highest price segment
The most expensive location for daily house rentals remains Polyanytsia (near Bukovel). The average price here is about 5,500 UAH per day, which is 10% more than last year. This confirms the stable premium status of the location.
High prices are also recorded in:
▪️Tatariv — about 4,500 UAH/day,
▪️Mykulychyn — 3,200 UAH, where the price has decreased by 10%,
▪️Yablunitsa — about 3,000 UAH, with no significant changes year-on-year.
Significant fluctuations are observed in other tourist spots. In Slavske, the average cost of renting a house increased by 213% and reached 2,500 UAH per day. In Vorokhta, the price rose by 54% to 2,000 UAH. At the same time, in Yaremche, a decrease in value of 9% was recorded.
The most affordable offers are concentrated in:
▪️Yasini — about 900 UAH/day,
▪️Volovets — about 500 UAH/day,
making these locations attractive for budget vacations.
🔸HOTELS AND RECREATION BASES: a more moderate segment
Compared to private houses, accommodation in hotels and recreation bases remains more affordable, although sharp annual changes are also observed here.
The most expensive is Tatariv, where the average price of a room increased by 86% and reached 4,000 UAH per day.
▪️In Slavske, a room costs on average 2,500 UAH,
▪️in Yablunitsa — 2,250 UAH,
▪️in Mykulychyn and Yasini — about 2,000 UAH.
Meanwhile, in Polyanytsia, a sharp decrease in the average room prices was recorded — to 1,250 UAH per day (–81%), which may indicate a redistribution of demand between accommodation formats.
In Yaremche, the price increased by 54% and is about 1,000 UAH, while in Vorokhta, the cost decreased by almost a third.
