RealEstate 2030 — is a strategic initiative aimed at consolidating the efforts of leading players in the Ukrainian real estate market to influence the formation of state policy, create a favorable investment environment, and accelerate the reconstruction of the country. The project functions as a next-generation lobbying hub that combines analytics, advocacy, and partnership interaction. RealEstate 2030 unites developers, realtors, investors, sector associations, analytical centers, digital platforms, financial institutions, and representatives of civil society — all those who seek not only to adapt to changes but also to shape the future of the industry.
As part of the strategic initiative RealEstate 2030, a final strategic meeting took place between the director of the Institute for the Development of the Real Estate Market of Ukraine, Oleksandr Plekhan, and Yaroslav Romanchuk — a leading economist, publicist, president of the Mises Research Center, author of over 1000 economic publications, who has long headed the analytical center "Strategy," was a deputy of the parliament of the Republic of Belarus, and a presidential candidate in 2010. Mikhail Kamchatny, director of the International Institute of Liberty (ILI), also participated in the meeting.
✔️This meeting was the culmination of a series of strategic discussions on building a next-generation lobbying hub — RealEstate 2030. The goal of the initiative is to unite key players in the Ukrainian real estate market to influence the formation of state policy, create a transparent investment climate, and support the reconstruction of the country through systematic interaction, analytics, and advocacy.
One of the key outcomes was the agreement on the joint development of an analytical tool with the working title “Index of Investment Attractiveness of the Ukrainian Real Estate Market.” This index is designed to provide a regular assessment of the effectiveness of reforms, the quality of the regulatory environment, and the level of investment attractiveness of the industry for domestic and international investors.
“Business and the state engage in dialogue under unequal conditions. Without a scientific-analytical approach and economic justification, business loses its position and influence,” emphasized Yaroslav Romanchuk.
A plan for further actions was also agreed upon, including organizing a series of meetings with real estate market participants dedicated to deregulation, digitalization, protecting investors, and de-risking the market. Thanks to the partnership with ILI, RealEstate 2030 strengthens the analytical component and becomes a key moderation platform in the field of real estate — something that has long been lacking for a systematic dialogue with the state.
